Why Berlock exists
Aiden spent over 10 years as a trainer, firefighter and height safety technician for a Fire & Rescue company, alongside more than a decade in front-line emergency response – including confined space rescue standby across wet wells, dry wells, dam infrastructure, wastewater digesters and elevator shafts, and height safety system audits to Australian Standards. He holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Certificate IV in Public Safety (Firefighter Supervision), Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighter Operations), and Certificate III in Mines Emergency Response and Rescue.
Berlock WHS was started to bring that direct, hands-on experience to workplace training – without compromise. Every course is built around the people in the room and the work they actually do, not a generic slide deck.
Bec, who holds a Bachelor of Business (Management and Marketing), runs the operations side of Berlock – from scheduling and admin through to the systems that keep the business running so Aiden can focus on training.
In 2023, Aiden and Bec also took on All4Fitness, a 24/7 gym in Cannon Hill, which now doubles as Berlock’s public training venue.
